Roger Dale Ricks, Jr. 40 of Hamlet, NC died Sept 7, 2026 at his home. Roger was born August 19, 1986 to Debora Ricks and the late Roger Dale Ricks Sr. in Rockingham, NC.
Roger attended the public schools of Richmond County. He was a loving father, being the loving person he was all who came in contact with him felt the love he showed to all.
Roger had a cheereful spirit making those around him laugh.
He loved fishing & working on his truck. Roger will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Roger leaves to cherish his fond memories his wife; Maigen Ricks, his children; Cameron Ricks, Khloe Ricks, Aubrie Ricks and Gage Ricks; his bonus sons; Jordan Mumford, Hunter Mumford and Dakota Mumford; his mother, Debora Ricks; his sister Chrystal Ricks, his special aunt, Elaine Haltom; his nephews Tyrese Ricks and Edward Chavis, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
A private service celebrating the life of Roger Ricks Jr. for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
