Funeral Service is Sunday November 9, 2025 at 3pm at the funeral home Mr. Carl Franklin Meece Jr. of 327 Lakeview Trail, Rockingham, NC departed this life for his heavenly home on November 5, 2025 at First Health Richmond at the age of 76. Carl was born on August 7, 1949 in Anson County. Carl worked in textiles most of his career. He loved fishing, watching his Nascar on Sundays and spending time with his family. He was one of the strongest men we knew. When he set his mind to do something he followed through with it no matter what. Carl was preceded in death by his parents Carl Franklin Meece Sr. and Gladys Goodwin Meece Langley and brother Robert Wayne Meece, Twana Rose Meece, son-in-law Jamie Kelly and his beloved dog Daisy Duke Meece and nephew Tommy Wayne Meece. Left to cherish his memory are his Wife Donna Meece, daughter Tracey Goodwin (Trey) sons Carl Franklin Meece III, (Frankie) John Maness (Jess) daughter Kimberly Kelly, Sister-in-law Dale Cassidy Meece, Grandchildren Hunter Meece (Jordan) Brittnee Gibson (Blake) Branden Kelly, Alyssa Watson, Hunter Otuel. Great grandchildren Kamreigh Bennette, Blakleigh Gibson, Brantly Gibson, niece Susan Meece and nephew Alan Meece (Jennie), special daughter Christy Grooms The family will receive friends for Viewing from 2-3 Sunday, November 9th, 2025 and a celebration of life to follow from 3-4 right after with Rev.
