Surviving is his parents Marcus T. Parker and Daeshonda Patterson; Maternal grandparents Erick and Kimyetta Slocum; Paternal Grandparents Marcus M. Parker and Sharay Vanleer and a host of other relatives.

Walter was affectionately known as Breezy and Walt Baby Love. He leaves to cherish his fond memories his daughters; Shannel Moore, Gwenyth Harris, Darlene Thomas, Diedra Moore-Janvier (Pierre) and Aretha Moore all of New York; his sisters Marrion Rogers of Maxton, NC and Mozella Watson (Moses) of Laurinburg, NC.
